Morgan Keith, assistant branch manager at TCT Federal Credit Union in Ballston Spa, has been selected to “Crash the GAC” next week in Washington, D.C.

The “Crash the GAC” initiative is facilitated by the Cooperative Trust. Event crashers are credit union young professionals or volunteers who are sponsored to attend the conference at a lower cost and with additional content designed especially for them. Crashers receive professional development tools, meet with industry leaders, network with peers and experience each event in a dynamic way.

“I know I will take away so much from this adventure and I am incredibly thrilled to be heading to D.C. next week,” Keith said. “I am so thankful to Filene and the Cooperative Trust for the chance to represent TCT, my state and be totally engaged in my passion — credit unions!”

Keith also expressed her appreciation to TCT for providing her multiple opportunities throughout her career and says she is thrilled TCT supports her quest to be a credit union advocate. “I am looking forward to networking with likeminded young professionals, and hiking the Hill is bound to be my favorite . . . I love it in Albany and I can’t imagine it on this scale.”

The 2020 CUNA GAC will be held Feb. 23-27. It is considered the premier event for political impact in the credit union industry, drawing thousands of credit union advocates from across the country each year. In addition to the keynote and educational sessions, the event also includes face-to-face meetings with some of the most influential policymakers in the country.
