The New York Credit Union Association’s Statewide Scholarship Program is awarding $30,000 in college scholarships to 49 bright, hardworking young credit union members.

The scholarships range from $250 to $1,750, and recipients are the top scorers among the over 1,000 applications submitted by credit unions across the state. The program was open to New York credit union members who are high school seniors planning to enroll in a two- or four-year college. Award recipients were selected based on academic performance, honors and awards, extracurricular activities, community activities, leadership roles and an essay.

The winners represent 19 credit unions and 10 chapters.  The complete list of winners is available on the Association’s website.
