In an ongoing effort to provide credit unions with up-to-date compliance information and guidance, the New York Credit Union Association has added new features to the compliance section of its website.
Two new sections have been added to the compliance section of the website, including a Weekly Compliance Update Archive and a Monthly Regulatory Recap, said Sarah Hodgens, the Association’s director of compliance.
“Our goal is to enhance our member credit union’s compliance functions by providing additional compliance resources and promoting ease of access to upcoming regulatory changes and industry guidance,” Hodgens said.
Going forward, the Weekly Compliance Update section will be updated on Fridays, while the Monthly Regulatory Recap page will be updated the first business day of each month.

The Association also recently announced that it had created a compliance networking group available to credit union professionals. When logged into the Association’s website, users will be connected with other credit union compliance staff across New York state. The compliance networking group can be accessed by clicking here.
