The survey for the 2020 New York Credit Union Impact Report, formerly known as the MORE Report, is live on the Association’s website. As credit unions across the state stepped up to assist their members and communities in 2020, the New York Credit Union Association wants to spread the word!
The New York Credit Union Impact Report Survey helps measure and quantify the community impact of credit unions on a statewide level. The New York Credit Union Association will use the survey responses to produce the 2021 New York Credit Union Impact Report, which will be shared with federal and state lawmakers.
The New York Credit Union Impact Report is a powerful advocacy tool, providing legislators with compelling statistics and figures about the great work that credit unions do for their constituents. Report highlights are also shared with the media, creating a platform for enhanced public awareness.
This survey allows the Association to compile, quantify and share the results of those efforts on a statewide level.
The report documents New York credit unions’ impact in the following key areas:
- adult financial education/counseling;
- community outreach and investment;
- immigrant outreach;
- youth financial education; and
- sustainability.
