
The New York Credit Union Association announced the election results of its board of director positions during EXCEL 22, the Annual Meeting and Convention, held June 16-19 at the Sagamore Resort on Lake George.
Robyn Young, board chair, announced that Vicky Burdick, president of Jamestown Community FCU; Ann Hynes, president of St. Pius FCU; and Keith Stone, president of The Finest FCU have been elected to represent Asset Tier 1, the up to $100 million asset tier category. Laurie Baker, president of The Summit FCU, has been elected to represent the Asset Tier 2 category, the $100 million and up asset tier category.
Young also thanked outgoing board of directors Mark Welshoff and John Gibardi for their dedication and commitment to the board of directors and the credit union movement.
In addition, Young recognized the 12 chapter leadership councils and thanked the chapter presidents for their leadership and support, saying that “the unity and cooperation you build at the chapter level helps make our statewide movement strong.”
Young also thanked Association president/CEO William J. Mellin and his team for the Association’s successes and services provided to New York credit unions.
“The noted success of the Association and our member credit unions clearly attest to their hard work and leadership,” Young stated. “So again, thank you, Bill, and please extend our thanks to your entire team for a job well done.”
