Association supports child at Albany Med this Christmas

The New York Credit Union Association continued its tradition of working closely with the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center this holiday season. The Association maintains a longtime and ongoing relationship with the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, and frequently partners with the organization on events throughout the year.

Hudson River Financial FCU donates nearly 1,500 lbs. of candy to troops

Hudson River Financial FCU and several partner organizations collected and donated 1,486 pounds of Halloween candy to benefit the Soldiers’ Angels “Treats for Troops” donation drive. This collection doubled the amount of candy collected by the credit union last year and exceeded their goal of collecting 1,000 pounds of candy.

CUs, service providers learn sustainability best practices at UNFCU Summit

United Nations FCU held their second annual United in Sustainability Summit in New York City last week. The event included discussions and real-world examples of environmentally responsible practices that credit unions are implementing to drive value, engagement and organizational growth.
